Eager to make your mark in social media? We’re looking for a Social Media Account Executive who not only loves social media but knows their way around the broader digital marketing landscape.
We require a forward-thinking Social Media Executive to join our social team.
Your day job will see you getting involved in execution tactics and seeing through individual projects and campaigns to completion. The Propaganda social team today has team members from both client and agency backgrounds and the ideal candidate would have current experience from either or both areas.
Working across a diverse portfolio of clients in sectors such as FMCG, E-Com, Financial Services and B2B lead gen, it is essential that the candidate is able to build strong client relationships, instilling confidence and excitement in the client and internal stakeholders.
You’ll need to have at 1-2 years experience of running social media accounts for businesses, and a good understanding of both organic and paid social media strategy and how they can work together to achieve specific client KPIs.
Operating within the Digital Department, we offer consultation and execution across a range of clients as part of their digital strategy, so it is also vital that you are beginning to have an appreciation of the wider digital landscape in order to add value for our clients, along with proactive thinking and a thirst for up-to-date industry knowledge. - Supporting your team in the day-to-day running of organic social media accounts in line with a pre-agreed organic social media strategy – coordinating, creating and scheduling content and briefing studio to meet client KPIs and business requirements, running community management tasks
- Influencer and ambassador management – finding and sourcing influencers, communicating with them and briefing on posting requirements
- Effective utilisation of a small media budget to maximise client returns and/or ROAS
- Retaining an organised list/database of potential contacts and coming up with proactive suggestions for new campaigns and partnerships
- Supporting the day-to-day management of paid social media accounts to achieve client KPIs, provide commercial analysis and make effective and data-based decisions with a client’s budget
- Creative thinking around existing offline or online campaigns and how they might translate into social campaigns to achieve client KPIs
- Creating monthly reports and identifying areas for improvement based on these and the clients commercial requirements
- Develop supportive and effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Contributing to social media strategies for clients for execution by in-house or Propaganda teams.
Given the current climate, this role will initially involve working remotely. Longer-term, the role will be based at the Propaganda office in Leeds, with a transition to more flexible working post Covid-19.
