On a rare sunny day in Yorkshire, we were lucky enough to join ReFood for a meeting using the facilities at their own client’s venue, Yorkshire Wildlife Park. We got up close to the big cats and got to see the new polar bear who had made his way from across Europe just in time for the meeting.
With the 10 tonnes of food waste that is produced at the park, every year, from visitors and animal food, ReFood produce 8 tonnes of bio-fertiliser and nearly 2800 kWh of energy.
