Animal magic

It was a night to remember for Propaganda as we attended the prestigious Motor Transport Awards at the gorgeously glam Grosvenor House Hotel in London, to watch client, Clipper Logistics, scoop a national award.

The event, now in its 24th successful year is the road transport industry’s equivalent of the Oscars, and everyone who’s anyone in the industry was there (1,400 to be precise), all dressed up to the nines to celebrate and recognise the outstanding quality and exceptional standards within the industry.

After much anticipation, some pretty good food and a few glasses of champers, the moment we’d all been waiting for arrived, as the judges announced, “and the winner of this year’s Livery of The Year Award is …… Clipper Logistics”. We could have jumped for joy!

The awards were judged by a panel of 65 independent industry figures, which commented that Clipper’s new livery is: “A quirky, stylish and unusual concept. The green and white backdrop is clean and bold, making the company highly recognisable.”

And another reason to celebrate… the stunning livery was designed by Propaganda’s talented design team. The design’s purpose is to reflect Clipper’s brand campaign message of ‘Logistics Evolved’ and to link it to Clipper’s ‘agility matched by ability’ brand proposition. The result, a stunning new visual identity, with a progressive, contemporary twist, using animals that represent speed and agility and combining them with animals that represent power and ability, to make one image of an evolved animal hybrid.

A delighted Steve Parkin, chief executive, Clipper, accepted the award, which was presented by none other than Scottish impressionist, playwright and comedian, Rory Bremner!

A massive Congratulations to Clipper and a well deserved pat on the back to Propaganda too…
