Leeds-based strategic brand consultancy, Propaganda, has supported the University of Huddersfield with a £10,000 bursary for students studying Marketing or Graphic Design.
Propaganda, established in 1993 by Huddersfield entrepreneur Julian Kynaston, is an award-winning creative and strategic brand consultancy. Over the past twenty years, the business has helped its clients to unlock transformational business growth through its proven model Brand Discovery™, a unique process to create, build and grow brands.
Propaganda’s senior team members have given their time to share their insights into the marketing and brand industry by inviting the University’s bursary students into the agency. The twenty students attended a day of presentations and discussion.
Julian Kynaston, founder and chairman of Propaganda, said: “We are proud to work with the University of Huddersfield in this way. Businesses should support higher education institutions and we are passionate about ensuring a continuing stream of exceptional talent in to our industry.”
The University of Huddersfield has a strong reputation of attracting students of the highest calibre, and Propaganda is keen to remain close to the talent pool stemming from its regional home of Huddersfield. Creative links are already strong between the University and Propaganda, with Senior Art Director, Ben Bateson, graduating there with a MA in Creative Imaging.
Carol Cloughton, Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Huddersfield’s Business School, said:“ Support and links with successful local businesses such as Propaganda give our students the opportunity to experience current brand and marketing practices as well as focusing their ambitions. We are delighted that Propaganda recognise the talent of our students and we welcome their continued support.”
Propaganda has worked with some of Yorkshire’s biggest brands, including Huddersfield based FMG.
