As the temperature hit a scorching triple digit on Tuesday, Manhattan became unbearable and we chose to take cabs everywhere for the benefit of air con. I think we took one to cover a distance of only 400 metres!!
We are in the City to meet our PR partners. Without doubt the new laws on TV product placement and also the continued fascination with celeb endorsement is the key PR focus here. The word here is that the NY people are having a real identity crisis and the brands that are bringing some light relief to the debate are doing really well.
We spent the evening with Kelly Cutrone from TV’s ‘The City’ and ‘The Hills’ who was full of praise for both Propaganda’s credibility stateside and of course our Illamasqua project that is out here in just over 30 Sephora doors.
Tomorrow we meet Bold PR who have done a great job for Illamasqua and we shall also be representing other Propaganda clients on the journey.
I’ve always said there is a great work energy here and coming to, and especially working in NY certainly tops up the batteries.
